I'm William K. Turner and I have produced raku fired ceramics for over 20 years. My work is sold in Galleries throughout the United States through my company, Raku Art Inc.. The majority of my work is slip cast from unique molds. I feel the piece (or shape) is the canvas for my raku which is painted by fire. Repeating the shape keeps consistency in my line of raku, which is sold in Interior Design Stores, Gift Stores, Catalogs, and Art Galleries. I have over 120 shapes and sculptural pieces, that are finished in several unique Copper Matte techniques. I am a Master at getting both light and dark colors in my raku from my one specially formulated Copper Matte glaze.

Copper Matte raku is the hardest raku process to produce and I am one of the best in the world. The Copper Matte glaze I use is my own formula. I have developed it and tweaked it to make the best Copper Matte glaze I have ever seen. I sell it to raku artists all over the world and I teach people in personal workshops how to make beautiful Copper Matte raku.
